Better Statistics for Marketers

New changes have been implemented to provide better statistics for Marketers sending to .mil emails. (Updated May 2020)

  • The calculation of Recipients (Sent) Experience Manager records the message as sent, if there are no error messages received.
  • Delivery and Opens rely on the user's client to respond.  Technically, an "Open"  may be received but not a "Delivered", from one of the sends, because the receiver's client did not send the "Delivered" message but it did send a "Opened" message.
    • In this case, if Open is received Experience Manager will also mark it Delivered, after the fact.

NMCI effects Statistics

Text Versions are not recorded.

  • Text versions of the email cannot report stats because we cannot embed tracking code in a text email.
  • All email recipients that receive to a .mil emails will be sent the text version only.
  • Additionally, if client's email client has HTML turned off, then they will see the text version and they will not be tracked as well.
