The Child and Youth Volunteer Orientation provides the basic essentials volunteers need to know before working with children and youth.
This learning event will provide a foundation for understanding the basics of: • Volunteer support to the CYP Program • The roles and responsibilities of a CYP volunteer • The Systems of Care • Ages and stages of children and youth • CYP inclusive practices • CYP Guidance and Touch Policies and how volunteers can support positive behavior within CYP Programs • Identifying and reporting child abuse • CYP health and safety policies and procedure

This course is estimated to take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete.
