Announcements are the list stores of mobile feeds and their details. Each feed contains an announcement(s) which is intended to send push notifications to subscribed mobile devices. These announcements can be scheduled to push at a specified time and date for automated notifications. 

The Announcement section allows users to create, manage and push enterprise announcements to subscribed mobile devices. The initial view displays a listing of Feeds, in which mobile users subscribe, via their mobile devices. 

The Feed listing is list of containers for related announcement instance(s). The parent container/feed is just a title associated to enterprise groups(s). Within the feed, announcement list are created, managed and automated. 

Feed Details are made up of:

  • Details (Title)
  • Groups 

Announcement Instance contain:

  • Details (Title, Display Date, Archive Date, Teaser, Link, Featured flag, Hide Enterprise Ad flag)
  • Descriptions (Description Text)

TO ACCESS Content Explorer:

  • sign in with a privileged user

  • from global navigation

    • select Content Explorer

    • select Activities, Trips and Classes

    • select a Announcements

On the Details tab, a Title.

  • Title

           Feed name

On the Groups tab, access is granted to the selected Groups. "IsPrimary" toggle, will determine which installation the event will redirect in the url.

On the Details tab, a Title, Display Date, Archive Date, Teaser, Link, Featured flag, Hide Enterprise Ad flag

  • Title

          This is the title that will display in the mobile notification

  • Display Date

          This is the date the notification will display in the application. 

  • Archive Date

          This is the date the notification will archive and no longer display in applications. 

  • Teaser

           With the notification ,Title teaser text, once created, will display in the mobile notification.

  • Link

          An associated link can redirect consumers to a specific webpage. 

  • Featured flag

           If featured, announcements can be highlighted within smartlists. 

  • Hide Enterprise Ad flag

          If flagged, enterprise ads will be suppressed from the announcement page.

On the Description tab, a Description is configured.

           A Rich Text Editor is provided to allow full control over the Announcement.
