The Activities, Trips, and Classes section allows users to create, manage and distribute enterprise events that can be viewed on the Website and Mobile Apps. This section is broken into a several categories. The categories are present to allow for easy organization and utilization of the stored meta-data.
The categories include:
The Activities categories consist of a container event that house an event instance(s). The parent container activity stores the bulk of the activity details while the activity Instance identifies the calendar occurrence(s). In most cases the instance will inherit this metadata. If an event shares some details, but not all, the system allows an override within each activity instance.
Activity Parent containers are made up of:
Activity Instances contain:
On the Details tab, a Title, Image, URL, Featured toggle, Hide Enterprise Ad toggle, Location/ Address Contact Information are configured.

On the Image tab, images are associated.
Links Media Manager images to an activity, while allowing the ability to associate a clickable URL link to the image.
On the Downloads tab, media assets are associated.
On the Tags tab, links to the current tag repository can be associated to each activity.
On the Additional Locations tab, in addition to associating events to the location of its occurrence other partner locations can be associated. This is a helpful feature for events like Runs were they are hosted at one location but several partners can be sponsoring the event.
On the Additional Categories tab, users can associate more than one category. In some cases this may be appropriate again. If your Fitness and Food, Beverage & Entertainment joined together they may want all associated smart lists to populate the same event.
On the Groups tab, access is granted to the selected Groups. "IsPrimary" toggle, will determine which installation the event will redirect in the url.
On the Date & Time tab, each instance will have date and time settings. Additionally, a Recurrence Pattern can be set to display the event until this reoccurrence ends. Simplifying instance creation and ending the need to recreate the instance for every single event.
On the Overrides tab, if toggled ON, the tab will enable and override the inherited parent metadata.
