Step-by-step guide to deactivate an Installation instructor

If an instructor has been used on occurred activities the system will not allow you to delete the instructor because they are linked to data. You must instead Inactivate them to remove their name from the dropdown list on the Activity screen. 


If the instructor is currently assigned activities you must first assign those to a new instructor or complete this task after their last scheduled activity has occurred. Otherwise this will not work.

  1.  Open the workspace selector by clicking on the three line menu icon in the upper left corner of the system.
  2.  Select Personnel.

  3. Click on Instructors on the left panel.
  4. Click on the Active toggle next to the instructor that is no longer associated with your location.
  5.  Click Yes on the confirmation pop up.

6. The toggle next to their name will be white indicating they are now inactive.
